Guidelines For Licensing
The guidelines for licensing in Ajman Free Zone require customers and investors to obtain a license for their desired activities and secure official approvals. They must also rent a suitable workspace. Employees are not allowed to work for other employers and employers must cover all accommodation expenses. The employee's passport is held after their residence is confirmed. Termination of an employee can occur for reasons stated in Article 120 of the Labour Law, and employees can resign before completing one year of work. Ajman Free Zone has a dispute resolution office for amicable settlements, and if no resolution is reached, the complaint can be referred to the court. Compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements, as well as building permits and licensing requirements, is necessary. Inspections are conducted to ensure compliance and the protection of workers' rights.
