Ajman Emiri Decision No 7_2014 On The Exemption From The Fees Of Registration Of Lands On Which Warehouses Are Constructed In The Emirate Of Ajman

The given law is Ajman Emiri Decision No. 7/2014, which exempts the registration fees for lands with warehouses in the Emirate of Ajman. The decision was issued by Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. It is based on the Ajman Emiri Decree No. 7/2008 on the Acquisition and Registration of Land Ownership in Ajman, and the Ajman Emiri Decree No. 8/2011 on the organization of issuance of local legislations in Ajman. The decision is also in accordance with the Ajman Emiri Decree No. 11/2011 on the issuance of the Ajman Government Financial Law and its Implementing Regulation, and the Ajman Emiri Decision No. 12/2013 on the services' fees of Ajman Land and Property Department. According to the decision, lands with warehouses in the Emirate of Ajman will be exempted from the registration fees specified in the Emiri Decision No. 12/2013, under certain conditions. These conditions include: 1. The warehouse must be located within the industrial zones of Ajman, as per the approved plans of the Municipality and Planning Department. 2. The land area on which the warehouse is constructed should not exceed 600 square meters. 3. The area of the warehouse building should be at least 80% of the total area of the constructed land. 4. The purchaser of the land on which the warehouse is constructed must be a citizen of the UAE or a citizen of a GCC country. The decision states that it will be published in the Official Gazette of the Emirate of Ajman and circulated to all relevant parties for implementation. It was issued and signed by Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi in the Emiri Diwan in Ajman on June 4, 2014. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Emirate of Ajman in 2014, on page 97.
