The given law is Ajman Decision No. 17/2017, which approves the Regulation of the Nature of Work Allowance in the Government of Ajman. The law applies to employees of government entities who receive their salaries from the annual budget. It also applies to employees of independent entities, unless they are specifically excluded by a written decision from the Chairman of the Executive Board of such entities. The Regulation of the work allowance in the government of Ajman is attached to the law and includes principles, provisions, and procedures for the implementation of the work allowance. All government entities in Ajman are required to implement the regulation. The central administration for the development of human resources may issue circulars and implementing decisions to ensure the implementation of the law. They will also supervise the implementation process and submit regular reports on the progress and any obstacles. The law was issued by Ahmed Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the representative of the Ruler for administrative and financial affairs, on May 2, 2017. It was published in the Official Gazette of the Emirate of Ajman and communicated to all relevant governmental entities.
