Ajman Administrative Decision No. 276/2016 is an implementing regulation for the trade and use of building control equipment and devices in Ajman. It is based on Ajman Emiri Decree No. 7/2016, which regulates this trade and use. The decision authorizes the Commander in Chief of the Police, Brigadier General Sultan Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, to issue implementing regulations and decisions to enforce the provisions of the Emiri Decree. These regulations and decisions include determining the security activities allowed for private sector establishments in Ajman, specifying security requirements and legal obligations for licensed security services providers, establishing methods of control for their activities and services, setting technical and security standards for different types of buildings, defining technical specifications and security standards for security control devices and equipment, determining the required registers for security services providers and users, and specifying the data and information to be registered in these registers. The decision also states that the offenses and fines listed in Ajman Emiri Decree No. 7/2016 will be checked and proven. The fines for these offenses will be collected and handled according to the financial regulations and procedures in force in the government of the Emirate.
