Ajman Administrative Decision No 19_2014 On Ownership Memoranda

Ajman Administrative Decision No. 19/2014, published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Ajman in 2014, P.287, focuses on ownership memoranda in the Emirate of Ajman. It is based on several other laws and decrees, including Ajman Emiri Decree No. 12/2012, which reorganizes the Ajman Land and Property Department, and Ajman Emiri Decree No. 7/2008, which deals with the acquisition of ownership of lands and their registration in Ajman. The decision also references Ajman Emiri Decree No. 7/2012, which approves the organizational structure of the Department, and Emiri Decree No. (12) of 2013, which sets the fees for the services provided by the Department. Ajman Administrative Decision No. 19/2014 specifically addresses the ownership memoranda of partners, including National, GCC Citizens, and individuals from other countries. It states that if a National or Gulf partner owns 50% or more of the ownership, the ownership memoranda shall be subject to the same fees as those of a National. The decision was issued on 11/03/2014 by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department. It came into effect on 01/01/2014 and was circulated to the relevant entities for implementation.
